What's going on ?

We got the Perry County Fair gig behind us... Just too much fun... Ended up playing longer than we planned. Didn't mean too. It just happened that way... Thanks to everyone for showing up.... Kinda wondered if we'd have a crowd. Thanks to you guys we did... We love it!

Summers moving right along. It always seems to go too fast. Back to school commercials on tv already. Dammit boy!

Looking foward to Rod Barnette & Christy Gordon's wedding. Gonna be good. Mike Moore is comming up from Tennesse. Live Bait will play. Can't wait to hear that... Gonna try to get Mike to play a couple with us also... Gonna jam... Gonna jam....  Can't wait. Its fun to play in the coliseum. Shawn Burgett will be running sound and hopefully be playing some also... Gonna be good.... Gonna be good. Kevin Fields will be playing also... Gonna be good... Gonna be good... Hope you can be there.

My nephew is getting back from Iraq next week. Welcome back to Brady. Job well done. It was his third trip to the middle east. He gets out in November. He works on the drones. (romote control spy planes).

Posting some more of Lynn's poems. I want to post the ones she wants to share. I'll have her pick several out and get them up there. Check it out.

I'm in the over 50 club now... It happened last Sunday. July 25th. I'm an old bastard now... I got my aarp card and everything. Hand me down my walking cane. It don't seem like I could be that old. Fifty and still confused. Somewhere in-between lost and found. We're in the wind now. Got the hammer down for somewhere. Got the sails set and the oven stoked up Don't know exactly where "destination unknown" is but thats where I'm going. Gonna love it every step of the way. Ain't no sense in worrying about it. Its a waste of time. You with me? Sounds like a song. Or could be. Maybe someday. Who knows. Got music? If not, get some. Git-R-Done! ! !

I have joined the ranks of being a grandparent. Angie had a little baby boy July 2nd. He weighed 6 lbs & 11 oz. He decided to come about a month early. Mom and baby doing fine... We call him Peanut. He's had that name since the first sonagram. Angie said it looked like a peanut and from then on we have called him Peanut.... His real name is Benjamin James O'brien. Of course we are proud as peacocks. He is something else.... Its been a while since we've had one to cuddle and love. I'll post some pics of him. We have over kill on the pictures... lol. Digital cameras and exited grandparents can be dangerous.

Haven't been in the studio lately.... No time.... I wanted to be done by the end of summer with this project but it don't look I'm gonna make it... Still at seven songs done... Been enjoying the outdoors too much I guess.

Check out the picture of Peanut at the bottom of the page... Ain't he something ! ! ! ! ! !

Help me in welcoming Benjamin James O'brien into the world. Kyle & Angie has a little man of their own.... More pics on the picture page...

Shorts

I've added a few new poems to the poetry page... Instead of changing them out every couple of weeks, I'm just going to let them accumulate. I think it might work better that way...

Gonna try to update a little more often. Seems like time gets away from you sometimes. Gonna try to stick with it on a more steady basis.

We will be playing at the Perry County Fair July 22nd (Thursday) from 7:30 to 9:00 And also at the Perry County Gun Bash On September 11th starting at 2:30.

Congratulations to Rod Barnette & Christy Gordon. They are getting married the 21st of August. We'll be there. Live Bait will be reuniting for this one... How cool is that?
